  • To renew your Architects license in the state of New Mexico, you are required to complete 24 hours of continuing education every two years.
  • Sixteen of the twenty-four hours shall be related to public protection subjects, safeguarding life, health, property and promoting public welfare. The remaining eight hours can be related to general subjects.
  • Architects license expire every odd year on December 31 and continuing education must be completed prior to expiration.
  • If an architect earns additional hours during a renewal period, they may carry over a maximum of eight hours to the next renewal cycle.
